We spent about a week at the Casa Figueira and had a really nice time there. Everything you need is in
it, which also includes proper knives, a TV plus films (we never used)... Iris and Roly are both very
kind and helpful and happy to share their knowledge on the island(s). They decorated the house in their
own way, friendly, open and with a lot of light insite - and we felt always "home" when we came back
from our tours from the island. Everything you need: a supermercado, different restaurants is in close
distance. You can easily start your expeditions to the island from here, you propably need a rental car,
but that's true for the whole island. The best of the house is the fantastic seaview, made for sunsets! If it
happens that we come back to Faial, we definitely come back to Casa Figueira! Thanks a lot!

Simply PERFECT: very clean, every comfort provided with a nice artistic touch and a great attention
for details, the location is secluded enough but very close to the main road, very kind and welcoming
owners and, above all, one of the best landscapes we've ever seen with a wonderful sunset to enjoy
directly from the patio!
The only problem is that the place is so cozy you will not want to go out to visit the island!

This was everything that was advertised. A very cosy bungalow with a beautiful view out to the ocean
and nice areas to walk. We made great use of the patio and grill.
Iris and Roland were good hosts and made sure we found the place and were properly settled in.

Casa Figueira is a magical place with a beautiful view. The house has everything you need and is very
romantic and colourfull. Roland is a wonderfull host. He told us everything about Faial and showed us
the most beautiful places on the island. We are very thankfull that we found this place and we met
Roland.

Very nice and quiet located apartement. We loved especially the beautiful sunset which you can enjoy
from the terrace. Iris and Roland are very friendly hosts with nicely dogs and a cat.

Iris and Roland made us feel very welcome.. It was lovely to be met at the airport and Roland told us
about the recent history of the island, where to find things etc. The house was perfect, just what we
wanted, and full of Iris and Roland's paintings – those and the décor gave a lovely warm feel. The
island is beautiful and peaceful, people were very friendly and helpful – we'll be back!

The house has everything you need and has a warm and cosy atmosphere. The beautiful garden is spacious
and it is a pleasure to sit on the terrace and watch the sunset over the sea. There are 3 very friendly dogs
who often stopped by to say hello. I miss them already.
